How to save and use your credit card information on your iPhone

Buying the phone is one of humanity’s greatest successes until you have to enter your credit card information. Attempting to correctly type 16 digits on the small iPhone keyboard can lead to rage, and scanning the card has never been much better. How many times have you tried to scan your credit card with the device camera only to put it down and enter it manually? Apple introduced a much simpler and better way to save your credit card information and fill it in automatically when making payments online. It is explained below:

  1. Open the Settings app on the device.
  2. Touch Safari.
  3. Touch AutoComplete.
  4. Make sure the credit card slider is GREEN / ON.
  5. Click on Credit cards saved.
  6. Use your Touch ID or enter your password.
  7. Select “Add credit card” to enter your credit card information.

To automatically fill in credit card information on a web page, just touch the button Credit card autocomplete option that appears in the suggested text toolbar. Finally, tap on the credit card you want to use and then use your Touch ID to finish the process.

If you touch the “Credit card auto-complete” option, the option to use the camera will also appear. This is a good way to quickly enter information for a card that you do not have stored in the Saved Credit Cards section. Credit Card AutoComplete is only found in Safari and unfortunately does not work with other browsers or applications.

You can also autofill other information, such as names and passwords, on any iOS device.
