International future forum for innovators
Discover trends earlier and implement them faster – this is how future-oriented companies secure a decisive lead over their competitors. The question of which trends will determine the future will be the focus of the 2010 Trend Summit on June 24th and 25th in Frankfurt am Main. The crucial questions will be discussed by the elite of German and international trend experts, innovators and futurologists for two days in Westhafen Pier 1, Frankfurt’s spectacular event location.
Speakers include Charles Leadbeater, innovation advisor to the British government, Grohe CEO David J. Haines, Professor Dr. Dieter Spath, Head of the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO) and the Institute for Industrial Engineering and Technology Management (IAT) at the University of Stuttgart, and Dr. Pero Miæiæ, one of the leading trend and future managers in Europe.
Also there is Doris Fitschen, celebrated star and sweeper in German women’s football. Today she is Head of Marketing for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Germany 2011. The former record player, who played 144 times for Germany, will show what managers can learn from women’s football – and how to successfully kick the ball into the goal .
At the Trend Summit 2010, the meeting point for trend specialists, innovation experts and top practitioners, despite the many visionary topics, the main focus is on pragmatic answers to today’s questions, says Johannes Höfer, managing director of the Handelsblatt publishing group: “How do you leave recognize customer needs at an early stage? How are innovations developed and implemented economically and what will we live on tomorrow and the day after tomorrow? Experts and guests will give answers and discuss them. “
