Journalists from the Insider Gaming portal watched the first episodes of the Fallout series, based on the game of the same name from Bethesda Softworks, and shared their impressions of what they saw.
According to them, the show demonstrates the highest level of faithfulness to the source material, so long-time fans of the franchise will definitely be pleased. However, viewers unfamiliar with the Fallout universe will find it quite difficult to understand what is happening on the screen.
The main points of the journalists:
- There is a lot more violence in the series than many might think – it is on display from the very beginning;
- Lots of comedic moments – especially dark humor;
- Demonstration of ___ scenes;
- There are many flashbacks that appear throughout the episodes of the first season;
- The first episode is very emotional;
- “Brotherhood of Steel” – power and strength;
- It’s better to forget a lot of what was shown in the trailers, as the series will have a completely different mood.
The Fallout TV adaptation will premiere on April 11, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video. All episodes will be released simultaneously.
