The new camera for the PlayStation 3, also called PlayStation Eye, will be released next month. Sony has announced this in a press release. The camera will cost between 35 and 40 euros and comes in combination with the EyeCreate program, with which you can take photos, videos and audio fragments and save them on the hard disk.
The PlayStation Eye will also be released in conjunction with Eye of Judgment on October 26, after which you can download EyeCreate via the PlayStation Store on November 7 with an included product key. So a lot of things to keep an eye on.
Then even more good news for potential buyers of the camera: starting October 25, there are three more games for sale via the PS Store that you can use with the PlayStation Eye: Operation Create Feature, Aqua Vita and The Trials of Topoq. Of course you will have to use your body to progress in these games. The PlayStation Eye will help you with this, because it has twice the refresh rate at a four times higher resolution than the original Eye Toy from the PlayStation 2.
