Oddworld: Soulstorm – this will be Epic exclusive too

Abe, the latest adventure from the lovely little alien, Oddworld: Soulstorm, will be featured in the Epic Store next year.

Oddworld: Soulstorm last heard about itself in May this year, when we also got a video showing the gameplay. Already at GDC, it was certain that the game would be released next year, but what we hadn’t guessed so far was that it would enjoy the exclusive hospitality of the Epic Games Store. Well, this is not technically completely true, as this is also a year of exclusivity, we will only be able to get it on the PC platform, on consoles in the respected store.

The developer, Oddworld Inhabitants, is not fussy, and financial security is understandably important as an independent studio, so he cited this as the main reason for the decision. And speaking of the exclusive, Epic Games reminds everyone in a video of what games they’ve put their paws on so far. Among them is Oddworld: Soulstorm.
