LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was recently released. This is a massive game that spans nine episodes of the legendary saga and tells about the rise of Darth Vader, the heroism of Luke Skywalker, the rise of Rey and much more. The idea is great, but what about the implementation? I passed the novelty and I hasten to share my impressions!

What is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

LEGO games are often underestimated, but many of them are made with great talent. The matching LEGO City Undercover is not much inferior to GTA 5 in terms of features and open world equipment. In LEGO Batman the humor is no worse than in a full-length animated film. The gameplay is also fun in LEGO Ninjago, which was given away for free.

However, projects about little men made of parts are rightly criticized for a similar gaming basis. Heroes race around the world, smash enemies, solve puzzles, unlock characters with new abilities, and move through the story.

At the same time, the most interesting thing begins after the end of the story, when you can explore locations using all skills and collect the valuable golden blocks. LEGO games have worked this way for a long time.

At first glance, the approach in The Skywalker Saga remains the same, but the scope has noticeably grown and the visuals have been enhanced. As a result, the novelty cannot be called a typical LEGO project – no other TT Games game impresses so much. If you love Star Wars, you shouldn’t miss out on LEGO Star Wars.
