Rocket League – pulled down on Steam because the developer was acquired by Epic

After the acquisition of Psyonix by Epic, it was only a matter of time before the opinion bomb hit Rocket LEague’s ratings.

Put your hand up, who was surprised that after the acquisition of Psyonix, the community will pull down their Steam game, Rocket League? Nobody? Correct. We hope that not many of you have boarded the new bandwagon because most of the users do not see the effort, as Steam’s compensation system works flawlessly.

Between May 1-3, players wrote about 2,700 negative reviews of the Rocket League, which we can read, but if we didn’t sign up to take the system into account, there would be no change in the game’s rating. The assessment of the game is still “very positive,” and while it’s perhaps naive to think it won’t disappear from Steam, the fate of the game hasn’t been decided yet – at least according to Epic.
