Rockstar is looking for developers for an open world game

Rockstar is looking for new staff for an unnamed project that is only certain to be open-minded, but many are already speculating on GTA 6.

There have been a lot of rumors about GTA 6 over the years, most recently in October we wrote that the release might not be as far away, and that’s when Vice City popped up again as the main venue for the game.

Although GTA 6 is not specifically mentioned this time, perhaps the news is related to it. Rockstar is looking for new employees for the Animation Systems Programmer position in a large, open-world, character-centered, next-generation hardware game.

With no title or more specific clues, this could be a Red Dead Redemption 3, Bully 2 or a whole new IP in addition to GTA 6, but many believe the next part of the Grand Theft Auto series will be made within the walls of Rockstar. Since GTA 5 is now a six-year-old game, it’s, so to speak, ripe for a replacement, although if you’re really making GTA 6, it probably won’t be released for quite a few years.
