Take-Two demanded that VR mods for popular games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Mafia be taken offline. They were created by enthusiast Luke Ross. This is not the company’s first attempt to remove such modifications.
As the developer himself notes, none of its modifications are created using Take-Two software and do not replace the games themselves. Their use requires the purchase of games, so there should be no problems from a financial point of view.
Ross is in no hurry to remove mods just yet. He wants to discuss the situation with Take-Two and believes he is in no way violating the company’s copyright.
