CD Projekt Red announced today that the long-awaited game “Cyberpunk 2077” will be released with a delay of several months – we will have to wait until September 17, 2020.
An official statement on Twitter says the company needs “more time to finish testing, fixing bugs and fine-tuning the details.”
CD Projekt Red says Cyberpunk 2077 will not be ready for the scheduled release date of April 16, 2020. It therefore delays the futuristic RPG by five months – until September 17, 2020.
While the game is practically ready and playable in its entirety, there is still a lot of work to do. “Night City is huge, varied and adventurous; given its scale and complexity, we felt we needed more time to finish testing, fix the bugs and put the finishing touches on the game. ” There will likely be more updates as the game’s new release date approaches.
This decision is intended to give the developer more time he needs to “make the game excellent” – we look forward to seeing you!
