Star Wars Uprisingthe new Diablo Klon, which topped the iTunes charts, could easily have the more honest title Star Wars: Uninspiring. The game is competently made. And that’s basically all.
Watch the video above to see it in action.
As with many so-called “free games,” you get what you pay for. In this case you get a neat looking but boring variation of Diabloa game about collecting loot and upgrading equipment with star Wars Noises, “hyperdrive star streaks” and occasional references to Hutts. And as is the case with so many so-called “free mobile games,” you can play slowly or pay real money to get better loot and progress faster. It’s… not really good.
But!
Star Wars + Diablo could be good and even a more bland version might appeal to you. Watch the video and decide for yourself. Or try it via iTunes Store or Google Play out of.
One thing you definitely need to know that you won’t see in the video is that the game supports real-time cooperative play.
