Patryk Loan’s latest project was introduced, in which we can only tour the world of The Witcher, i.e. currently only Kaer Morhen, in VR.

  • The Witcher Unreal Engine 4 VR project was introduced
  • As its name suggests, this project would translate the world of Witcher into virtual reality
  • Currently, we can visit Kaer Morhen Castle alone
  • The project supports Oculus, HTC and Microsoft Mixed Reality headsets

Immerse yourself in the world of Witcher as deeply as you have ever had before with The Witcher Unreal Engine 4 VR project. As its name suggests, the main goal of this project is to recreate The Witcher’s orbits in VR, and as a first step, the creators built the famous fortress of Kaer Morhen.

As can be seen from this, The Witcher Unreal Engine 4 VR project will not be a simple mod for the first Witcher game, but rather a separate VR program where creators recreate The Witcher’s tracks with Unreal Engine 4, with VR support. The only change is that there are currently no fights in this version, so we can’t run into opponents.

The Witcher Unreal Engine 4 VR currently supports headsets from Oculus, HTC and Microsoft Mixed Reality, so if anyone has such glasses and would like to get a taste of the Witcher experience in virtual reality, you can download the project here.
