Before World of Warcraft simply existed Warcraft, the award-winning, genre-defining real-time strategy trilogy. Many MMO players don’t know these classic stories. The World of Warcraft Extension, it bears the title Warlords of Draenorwill change that.
“What if those dark days could come again?” (What if these dark times could come again?) asked Blizzards Chris Metzen during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2013. “To forge a brighter future, sometimes you must confront the ghosts of the past,” he continued, exciting the audience before he Warlords of Draenor announced the next expansion for World of Warcraft.
We are going to travel back in time, dear readers. Old heroes, old villains, locations that are familiar to the players of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans and the two games and expansions that followed are known.
The new expansion offers a new world with Draenor, player garrisons that can be improved, new character models and much more. In addition, the level cap will be raised to 100. It’s also worth noting that newcomers can “boost” their level up to 90 so that they can save themselves a lot of grinding and get started straight away.
