The official Fifth Element game was bad. That’s why it’s nice that, 15 years after the film’s release, we could finally get a game that looks like it recreates at least part of the experience.
Collateral – currently on Kickstarter (and Steam Greenlight) – is a racing game in which you control a flying taxi through a vast sci-fi cityscape. It’s obviously not a real Fifth Element game, duh, but it’s close enough to one.
Looks good! Decent speed, a visual design that’s as attractive as it is easy/cheap to produce and, a rarity on Kickstarter, it even has a decent name.
