Already in January 2022, CD Projekt RED turned exactly 20 years old, but the company decided to celebrate this event on July 1 – on this day it announced that it would develop computer games.
Time flies… It’s hard to believe that CD PROJEKT RED is already 20 years old. These two decades have been full of adventure and we are proud that we have managed to create games that appeal to gamers around the world. We are pleased that you, our community, have accompanied us on this journey!

To mark the 20th anniversary, CD Projekt RED released art featuring dozens of characters from their games and also launched a special website where you can see the company’s entire journey and participate in competitions. A festive gallery of beautiful screenshots and drawings is now available on the website.
The company has many events planned. She will post fun facts about herself on Fridays, stream her games on Wednesdays, and host contests on Mondays and Thursdays.
But we won’t just celebrate today. After all, we are 20 years old! We have many events planned for the coming months and invite you – our amazing community – to join in the celebration!

Since its founding, CD Projekt RED has published a successful The Witcher trilogy and several spin-offs as well as Cyberpunk 2077. The company is currently working on story DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, a next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a single-player spin-off based on Gwent and the new The Witcher on UE5.
