CD Projekt RED has announced that the saved data of the role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 can be transferred to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. This way you can continue playing on new consoles. December 10, 2020 CD Projekt RED will release an action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. A full update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will follow over the next year. Now the developers have talked about how to use saved game data in Cyberpunk 2077. This will allow you to continue the adventure on next-generation consoles if you previously played on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. On PlayStation 5, you’ll be able to continue playing Cyberpunk 2077 thanks to backwards compatibility, so saved data from PlayStation 4 is also compatible with the new console, as long as you use the same PSN account. However, you have three options for transferring saved data to PlayStation 5:
Via PlayStation Plus cloud storage
Data transfer via LAN or WLAN cable
Transfer data using a compatible storage device (USB flash drive, external hard drive)
Xbox gamers can also play Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X/S thanks to Smart Delivery. To do this, they need to upload saved data to the cloud or connect Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S to the same network and use the system network data transfer option.
Attention console players! If you started playing #Cyberpunk2077 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you can continue playing on the corresponding next-gen console. Here’s how cross-saves will work: PlayStation: pic.twitter.com/W24u6WzXxB – Cyberpunk 2077 (@CyberpunkGame) November 27, 2020
