In Cyberpunk 2077 you can unlock numerous vehicles in the form of cars and motorcycles, which you can then use as your personal vehicle. You can also simply steal cars off the street and drive them around, provided you have the appropriate skills. If you have stolen a car, the question often arises: how can you save the car? Can you drive the stolen car into the garage and use it as your personal car?
Cyberpunk 2077: Steal and drive cars
Theoretically, in Cyberpunk 2077 you can steal and drive pretty much any car you see on the road. At the beginning of the game you can’t steal all the cars because you need the necessary skills to do so. To be more precise, you have to level the constitution and technical skills of the character, which you can do in the menu with the available attribute points. You can then move to the car, throw the driver out of the vehicle and drive it through Night City yourself.
Store stolen cars and park them in the garage?
Unlike personal and purchased vehicles, you cannot park stolen vehicles in the garage and thus “save” them. If you move too far away from the stolen vehicle, it will disappear on its own. In addition, you cannot call or request the stolen cars and motorcycles at the push of a button and you cannot use the trunk as a mobile storage facility.
Is there now a way to save stolen cars and take them into your own ownership? If something has changed on the topic, we would be happy to receive a brief note in the comments.
In another article we have already described how you can unlock and buy more cars in Cyberpunk 2077. We also show how you can make your own ammunition in Cyberpunk 2077 and buy it from a dealer.
