Fable II DLC See the Future coming May 12
Earlier this month, it was announced that new downloadable content (DLC) is in development for Fable II, titled See the Future. Developer Lionhead announced today that the DLC will be released on May 12 and will come with a price tag of 560 Microsoft Points.
In See the Future, players must clear curses associated with three mysterious objects owned by Murgo the Trader. You will have the chance to restore color and balance to the world, or to let Albion slide further down. Those who are successful will receive an ultimate reward: a quest that will give you a glimpse into the future of Albion and show you what awaits new-born heroes. Expect lots of new characters, new creatures, events and legendary artifacts.
Fable II builds on the success formula of the first part. This one had quite a few disappointments, but Fable 2 promises to make up for it all. The storyline is quite similar to that of the original. You’re a little kid again when your family is kidnapped. Then you grow up and want to save them, but in the process you end up in a much bigger plot. You will have to save the world and of course that doesn’t just happen.
Fable II is again the same classic RPG as the first part. The choice between good and bad is again central, your actions will have consequences for the rest of the game. This time you can also choose to play with a woman instead of a man. In addition, it is again possible to buy houses, shops, castles and even the whole of Albion. And the option to get married and have a good bat is still there.
