This is how you can escape the police
Work in progress
Method #1: Change vehicle or change color of vehicle
-
The easiest way to get rid of a Wanted level is to go to any mod shop and have your vehicle painted a different color.
-
If the police don’t see you driving into the building/workshop, you will lose your current wanted level immediately.
-
The police will first provide the make and model of your vehicle. If you change vehicles, the annoying pursuers will quickly lose sight of you.
Method #2: Complete the assignment/job
-
Unlike the previous ones GTAPlaying games will immediately clear your current Wanted level when you successfully complete a mission.
Method #3: Detach/get rid of followers
-
Press (Right/Right D-Pad) to unhook a truck’s trailer while driving.
-
A perfect, little-known way to block narrow alleys or streets during a chase.
Method #4: Avoid or shoot down helicopters
-
From Wanted level 3 onwards, police helicopters will be used. If you manage to avoid being spotted by them, you’ll have a much easier time escaping.
-
Tunnels, subways and roads that run underground are ideal for avoiding helicopter pursuit.
-
Otherwise, you should use a rocket launcher to shoot down the helicopter before escaping in a vehicle as fast as possible.
Method #5: Go for size
-
Do you want to escape quickly and without major problems? Then board a helicopter or plane at Los Santos airport. This will cause your Wanted level to skyrocket, but the police can’t follow a plane.
