Facebook it has always been your favorite social network and you use it every day not only to watch the content posted by your friends and interact with them, but also to share photos and videos yourself. In particular, you often publish new Stories and frequently use the option to add background music to your content. Unfortunately, however, you still haven’t figured out how to increase the duration of the music: to learn more, you did some research on the web and you ended up straight on this guide of mine.
That’s the way it is, am I right? Then let me tell you that today is your lucky day! In the next paragraphs of this tutorial, in fact, I will explain to you how to increase seconds of music on facebook indicating all the solutions at your disposal. In particular, it will be my task to provide you with some useful tips to “circumvent” the limitations imposed by the famous social network relating to the maximum duration of a song in the Stories.

How to Increase Music Seconds on Facebook Stories
If you are wondering if it is possible increase seconds of music on Facebook and your intention is to do it in a Story to be published on the famous social network, you will be happy to know that the answer is yes, as long as you include a video in the Story.
You must know, in fact, that the single Stories created with music and photos (or with simple text) have one duration of 15 seconds, without any possibility of decreasing or increasing this duration. Stories that include a video, on the other hand, can last up to 26 seconds, with the possibility of adjusting the duration to your liking.
Having clarified this, to create a new Story with music and videos, take your smartphone or tablet, start the Facebook app for Android (also available on alternative stores, for devices without Google services) or iOS / iPadOS and, if still you haven’t, log into your account. At this point, click on the option Create a story, at the top left, select the option Music and locate the song you want to use among those visible in the section For you. If you wish, you can also press the ▶ ︎ button for a single song, in order to listen to a short preview.
Alternatively, you can also find a song by pressing on the option Browse and selecting one of the categories available from Love, Trips, Nature, Meditation, Hip hop, Rock, Pop, Country etc., depending on the type of music you intend to use in your Story. If, on the other hand, you want to search for a specific song, enter the title in the field Search for music or artists and press the button Near, to view the search results.
After identifying the song that best suits your needs, tap on his title, to add it to the Story and, in the new screen that appears, select the video that you intend to publish on Facebook among those available on your device. At this point, tap on the icon of scissors located in the top menu, select the portion of the movie you want to include in the Story using i two yellow cursors visible on the screen and press the button end, top right, to save the changes. Remember that the video must have a maximum length of 26 seconds, otherwise it will be automatically cut to ensure the allowed length.
Now, tap the text or onadhesive of the song you have previously chosen, select the part of the song you want to play in the Story and press the button end. If you wish, add additional effects and stickers and, when you are ready to publish the Story, tap on the option Share in the story, to share it on Facebook. As I mentioned earlier, it is only possible to increase the duration of the music in a Facebook Story by using a video. Nothing prevents you, however, from using one of the many apps to create videos and make a movie with one or more images, to be used in a new Story as I have just indicated.
Finally, I would like to point out that another solution to increase the duration of the music is to publish more Stories using the same song but inserting sequential portions of the song, so that the music is played without interruptions passing from one Story to another. Although publishing a Story is a very simple operation, keep in mind that this procedure is quite complex: in fact, being able to perfectly use sequential portions of pieces is not easy.
That said, if you think this is a valid solution to lengthen the duration of the music in your Stories, create a new Story by clicking on the option Create a story, select the option Music, choose the song you want to use and customize your Story with the content you prefer. Once this is done, click on text or onadhesive of the previously chosen song (if visible, you can also press the icon of the musical note located at the top), select the first 15 seconds of the song you intend to play in the first Story and proceed to its publication. Once this is done, repeat the procedure to create the next Stories, making sure to use the same song but, from time to time, to select the 15 seconds of song following the previous ones.
How do you say? You would like to do all of this from computer? In this case, you should know that the web version of Facebook does not allow you to create Stories using the Music function or to include videos in them.
How to increase the second music on Facebook profile
Perhaps not everyone knows that inFacebook app for smartphones and tablets there is a function that allows you to choose a song to show in the foreground on your profile and that all users of the famous social network can listen to it for a maximum of 90 seconds.
If you were already aware of this feature and would like to know how to increase the second music on Facebook profile, I am sorry to tell you that in this case it is not possible in any way to increase the maximum duration allowed.
If, on the other hand, you did not know this option and now you would like to put a song on your profile, all you have to do is start the Facebook app, press the ☰ button and tap on yours. first name, in order to access your profile. Once this is done, locate the section Post, click on the option Music and tap the button +, top right, to add a new song.
Then choose one of the songs available in the section Popular songs, otherwise enter the title of the piece of your interest in the field Search for music or artists and press the button add for the song to add to your profile.
At this point, in the screen Music, tap on the icon of three dots for the song you have previously chosen and select the option Fixed high in the profile from the opened menu, so as to show the song in question under your name and allow it to be played for 90 seconds to all users, including those who are not part of your friends.
