Tom Henderson spoke about the state of affairs at Quantic Dream, the makers of Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human, who are currently busy with the action Star Wars Eclipse. According to an insider, development is not going well and the game should not be expected until 2027-2028.

The debut trailer was warmly received by players, but attracted almost no new employees to the studio. Three months after the announcement, 67 vacancies for the Paris office were advertised on the official website. Additionally, Henderson claims that Quantic Dream manually updates job posting data to make it more current.

Previously, another insider, a Twitter user under the nickname AccNGT, shared the alleged details of the action film. The game will be similar to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and feature an open world.

Star Wars Eclipse’s announcement was made as part of The Game Awards 2021. You can check out all the major premieres from the ceremony here.
