Counterpoint Research conducted a market analysis and found out which phones were in greatest demand in the first quarter of 2024. The top 10 devices include five gadgets each from Apple and Samsung.
First place is occupied by the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 4.4% – its “little brother” iPhone 15 is only one tenth of a percent behind. The top three is closed by a simple firmware of the same line.
Samsung’s phone was only able to take fifth place – this is the Galaxy S24 Ultra with 1.9%, followed by the Galaxy A15 5G.
Counterpoint Research noted that people now prefer to buy smartphones for a long period of time, and therefore often choose high-end devices. In the diagram, devices that cost more than $600 and are considered premium are marked with an asterisk.
