We’ve all heard stories about finding long-lost games. Many have experienced this themselves – my copy of Rogue Galaxy had been missing since 2009 before I found it in the back of a drawer – but stories of things resurfacing after 30 years are rare.

Weird Paul wrote some very simple programs for his Commodore 64 in 1983, from sprites to simple Star Wars text adventures. Because they were lost for so long, he thought the files might be useless, but now that he’s reunited with his code, it’s time to reminisce.
