This week I want to give you a work of the best GTA V Modders imagine that meteors will rain down on Los Santos like rain. Another clever modder discovered in Fallout 4 a hidden weapon that can fire multiple harpoons. A popular one Europa Universalis Mod is now also available for Crusader Kings 2 and a Cities: Skylines Mod allows you to give names to all your streets.
Here are the most promising mods I discovered in the past week.
Secret Harpoon Gun, for Fallout 4
This is more than interesting. Modders xxdeathknight72xx (I don’t know how to pronounce this username unless all Xs are mute) has in Fallout 4 discovered a Harpoon Gun that appeared to have originally been part of the game, but was then removed or not implemented. The video above shows them in action. Air bubbles even appear behind the harpoon, indicating that this weapon was intended exclusively for use underwater. Thanks to this mod you can now use it. You can find the mod here.
Meteor Shower, for GTA 5
JulioNIBcreator of some of the best GTA Mods, is back with a new script, one that sends a huge and deadly hail of burning meteors raining down on Los Santos. The video above is great because it shows the burning space rocks entering the atmosphere and exploding everywhere. The Download links and installation instructions can be found on the GTA X Scripting Site.
Road Namer, for Cities: Skylines
I don’t know why I find this so incredibly exciting – maybe it’s because this mod gives me the opportunity to Skylines To make cities a little more personal, which is urgently needed since they all resemble each other in some way. Anyway, this mod is very cool. You can give your streets names and the text will be integrated directly into them. Very cool, especially when the whole thing Cimtographer-Integration maintains what is planned. This mod is available in the Steam Workshop.
Type Orbis Terrarum, for Crusader Kings 2
this is the CK2 version the mod of the same name for Europa Universalis IV. It makes for a more accurate map of the world – in this case, showing the entire world, not just the playable countries of CK2 —, adjusting the size of certain areas and correcting the relative positions of others. This is definitely helpful for those modders who are working on expanding the playable areas of the world, but the mod will also be of interest to anyone who is just a fan of the game or of nice, reasonably accurate maps. It can be found in the Steam Workshop.
Insider: Several story DLCs with new cities will be released for GTA 6
