In anticipation of the release of Phantom Liberty, NVIDIA has released a video dedicated to the visual component of the add-on. In the video, she bragged about the DLSS 3.5 and Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode technologies and demonstrated how they changed the PC version of the DLC and increased the frame rate.

Phantom Liberty will add a lot of new content to the game, including its own storyline, characters, weapons and cars. The expansion will be released on September 26th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with reviews coming on September 20th. On September 21st, the game will receive a major update 2.0 that overhauls many mechanics – enemy AI, skill trees, cyber implant system and more.

CD Projekt RED and Dark Horse recently released a free 23-page Ten of Swords comic telling the backstory of the expansion. A map of a new location from the DLC has also leaked online.
