It is an established tradition that whenever a new one World of Warcraft Expansion appears, some classic dungeons will be redesigned. After Scholomance and The Scarlet Monastery, now is the time for a new Upper Blackrock Spire (UBRS), a great old dungeon that – among other things – for Leeeeeeroy Jenkins is famous.
Now that players have access to the beta and UBRS as a level 100 “instance,” we can finally take a look at all the changes. Unfortunately, among other things, all the Leeeeroy Jenkins stuff has disappeared (although if you pay close attention, at around 9:40 in the first clip you can discover the body of an acquaintance in the Rookery.
Plus, UBRS was famous for being unforgiving and a little more complex than other dungeons right from the start. If you weren’t careful, you could easily find yourself in Lower Blackrock Spire, the other wing of Blackrock Spire. This doesn’t seem to exist anymore either.
