In the new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you can adjust the lightsaber again, similar to the predecessor. Of course, in addition to the hilt and materials, the available customizations also include the lightsaber color. In this short guide, we show when and, above all, where to change the lightsaber and how to unlock special lightsaber colors such as the color red.
Change the color of the lightsaber
Before you can change the color of the lightsaber, you have to play for a while. More specifically, you can’t customize the color until you’ve unlocked the first workbench. The first workbench unlocks after about 45 minutes of gameplay. Then you can go to the workbench and make various adjustments. In addition to the lightsaber color, you can also change the handle and the materials used and adjust them individually. At the beginning there are only certain colors to choose from, which you can expand as the game progresses. The rest of the lightsaber colors are automatically unlocked as you progress through the game.
- Blue
- Green
- Violet
- Yellow
- cyan
- magenta
- indigo
- Orange
- White
As in its predecessor, the color of the lightsaber has no effect on its properties. The color is purely cosmetic in nature and brings no advantages but also no disadvantages.
Unlock Red Lightsaber
Anyone who has already spent an hour or two in the world of the new Star Wars Jedi Survivor will sooner or later ask themselves the question, what about the red lightsaber? When will the lightsaber color red unlock? The short answer is that if you want to play with the red color of the Sith, you have to beat the game first. Only in the second playthrough or in the New Game Plus is the red lightsaber color available at the workbench. In addition to the red lightsaber, there is also the color “Party” where you can let the lightsaber shine in changing colors.
