If George Lucas had recorded the first Star Wars film in Minecraft, we would be living in the age of time travel (please let me know when Half-Life 3 will be released. Thanks.) and it would probably look like the video above. The time travel thing doesn’t seem to be working quite yet, but the latter isn’t bad either. Enjoy the beginning of Episode IV: A New Hope in Minecraft style.

The short clip was made by my favorite Star Wars-loving Minecraft fan, a guy named Grahame — Paradise Decay on YouTube — who also rendered Empire Strikes Back’s Battle of Hoth and the Asteroid Chase and A New Hope’s Trench Flight in Minecraft .

Here are his three older clips combined in one video:

The first 15 minutes of Star Wars, accurately recreated in Minecraft

Minecraft became a GTA about The Simpsons. The game recreated Springfield with residents and cars

Minecraft Star Wars: A New Hope is better than ever

Mods add GTA, Minecraft and Mario to Zelda: Breath of the Wild
