Thanks to the Blockster modding team, you can now roam Springfield from The Simpsons in Minecraft. It took six months to create a virtual copy of the city. You can download the archive with the 38 MB mod here.
In honor of the release, the authors released a trailer showing the city and its surroundings as well as many familiar characters, including Seymour Skinner, Mr. Burns, Waylon Smithers, Marge and Bart. Judging by the video, players can drive cars and shoot with a slingshot. The mod recreated the interiors of buildings, more than 20 cars and many characters from the animated series.
Previously, the network showed four exclusive mobs for the action strategy Minecraft Legend that are not included in the regular version of Minecraft. Fans have also built a real flying city in the sandbox and spent approximately 7,000 hours building it.
