The Minecraft RTX beta test kicks off on Thursday.

  • The Minecraft RTX beta test will begin on April 16th
  • Six RTX worlds will be available

We’ve known for a relatively long time that it’s a bit unlikely, but all the more spectacular, Minecraft will also get RTX support, and now it’s also clear when we can get a taste of the super-lifelike spectacle: Nvidia announced that on April 16, tomorrow the beta test will start on Windows 10 platform.

A total of six RTX worlds will be available in beta (Aquatic Adventure, Of Temples and Totems, Crystal Palace, Imagination Island, Color, Light and Shadow, Neon District, Razzleberries RTX Texture Showcase), which will be available for free download from the in-store store. The creators tried to select these in various ways from the works of the players – the trailer attached to the announcement offers an eye-catching taste.
