There’s a new one coming soon Tomb Raider When the film hits theaters, the world is ready for a bit of Lara Croft nostalgia. This remaster news comes at just the right time: the first three Tomb Raider Games will be really pretty and free for everyone who owns the originals. The reason for this may surprise you.
Realtech VR has announced that it will release revised versions of Tomb Raider 1, 2 and 3 will be released on Steam. These remasters will be based on the mobile versions, support OpenVR, feature a new 3D engine and will be free for all owners of these games. Did you notice all of this? Realtech has created remasters that require the DOS version of every game on Steam.
Realtech is known for making demos and ports for mobile devices, so this is both a common project for the team and something new.
The port is relying on Steam because we won’t provide game data. Since TR classic is on Steam, we will use the game data from there.

The new 3D engine offers a better-looking post process for better lighting and more convincing shadows; This post-processing can be turned off if you prefer a legacy texture pack. This new engine also adds support for Xbox Controllers and several DLC packs.
