At the end of the month, Xbox One and PS4 owners will have the opportunity to Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition to play, a graphically improved version of the excellent one released last year Tomb Raider Reboot. But how definitive will the next-gen version really be?
Recently this video surfaced, giving us a side-by-side comparison of the Ps3 and Ps4 versions of the game:
The differences are considerable. Numerous new particle effects and high-resolution textures make the game look significantly better on the PS4. I played the original game on PC and assume that this version won’t be too different from the next-gen version, although some differences will be noticeable. What’s particularly interesting is that Lara Croft’s face has also been thoroughly reworked. The young lady now looks more like a Hollywood star and is no longer so pale. She seems like a completely different person!
