The Witcher 3 set a new bar for quality DLC, but CD Projekt RED wants to raise it even higher. According to Investor Relations’ Marek Bugdol, the upcoming expansion Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be the largest expansion in the company’s history.
At the moment, the title of the biggest DLC belongs to the third “The Witcher” with “Blood and Guilt”. It added a completely new region and completed Geralt’s storyline. According to HowLongToBeat, it takes 28 hours to complete.
Bugdol added that the development of the add-on is going according to plan. Release is scheduled for 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
The events of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will unfold in a new location called Dog City. The protagonist has to help secret agent Solomon Reed, played by Idris Elba.
