Iconic and legendary items in Cyberpunk 2077
It’s impossible to call a single weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 the best. A lot depends on your tactics and the implants installed. In this article we talked about the most interesting representatives of different classes, from knives and swords to long-range sniper rifles. If Phantom Liberty is marked in brackets, then such a weapon is only available in Dog City. Players who have not yet purchased the expansion will not be able to get there.
New features of iconic weapons from the original Cyberpunk 2077
In Update 2.0, some weapons received new properties. Full list:
- “Comrade’s Hammer” The clip contains an explosive cartridge that causes enormous damage. Can be recharged with a successful melee attack. This is extremely convenient considering that a normal magazine change takes a lot of time.
- “Archangel”. Fires at the speed of a submachine gun, deals 200% damage when shooting enemies in the head, has a 25% chance to penetrate armor, and a 20% chance to inflict Shock. Successful shots can knock down an enemy.
- “Ba Xinchun.” Now it is a rocket launcher with explosive grenades and great damage.
- “La Chingona Dorada.” Each hit on an enemy restores the ammunition in the magazine. Hitting an enemy in the head increases the chance of being burned and the amount of critical damage dealt.
- “The Fading of Night” Shots fired while moving deal more damage and have a chance to shock the enemy. Butt strikes shock opponents with electricity. – Gains a damage boost when moving and can shock enemies. This pistol also deals shock damage in close combat.
- “Satori.” In addition to all of this weapon’s standard bonuses, it has a high chance of causing bleeding.
Steel arms
Katanas, swords, clubs and knives may only be used in close combat. Cyberpunk 2077 allows you to eliminate many enemies at close range, especially if your melee weapon has additional perks that weaken, set fire, or bleed enemies.
Nyhan Knife (Cyberpunk 2077 2.0)
- Properties: Causes bleeding, restores the main character’s health when the enemy’s vitality scale decreases.
- How to get: During the story mission “Pass to the Major League” you need to search the body of Saburo Arasaka. We have dedicated a separate guide to completing Cyberpunk 2077’s main missions.
Errata’s Thermal Katana (Cyberpunk 2077 2.0)
- Properties: 25% armor penetration, 30% chance to inflict burns. If you manage to set the enemy on fire, all further attacks will be crucial. Adds an additional advantage of jumping at enemies from long distances, just like in the trailer.
- How to get: During the mission “Malfunction” from the main story of Cyberpunk 2077. The katana will be on the edge of the electric furnace. If you are more advanced and haven’t managed to pick up this weapon, you can purchase it from black market dealers in Dog City.
Razor Tooth (Phantom Liberty)
- Properties: 50% bonus damage for attacks to the head, 30% chance to cause bleeding, hits to the same body part deal more damage…
- How to get there: If you decide to help Reed catch Songbird during the Firestarter quest, Colonel Hansen will come to you and throw this knife. Just pick it up.
Baton Murphy’s Law (Phantom Liberty)
- Properties: 50% Armor Penetration, 20% chance to inflict Bleeding, Stun or Shock. When you attack downed enemies, your attack speed increases.
- How to get: If you help Songbird escape during the Firestarter quest, you’ll have to fight some thugs. Your lieutenant will be armed with this baton. You can take it from the corpse.
Agau Ax (Phantom Freedom)
- Special: Critical attacks generate electrical waves that can damage multiple enemies at once.
- How to get: Kill Ayo Zarin, who is hiding in the voodoo hideout, and take the ax from his corpse.
Gwynblade Sword (Phantom Liberty)
- Features: After quickly killing an enemy, all subsequent attacks in the series are critical. In addition, the sword deals additional damage to bosses.
