Where can I find the Cyberpunk 2077 savegames? In which folder and where are the Cyberpunk 2077 save games saved? One or two players who have bought the new game from CD Projekt Red for the PC will perhaps look something like this. Regardless of whether you bought the game via the GOG.com or GOG Galaxy Launcher or via Steam, a local backup of the saved games is displayed in both cases. If you want to transfer or delete the save game or play with another player’s downloaded save game, you can find the Cyberpunk 2077 save game folder.

Cyberpunk 2077: In which folder are the save games saved?

Unlike what we know from other games, the save games and savegames from Cyberpunk 2077 are not stored in the documents or MyGames folder or in the game record. Instead, the save games on Windows can be found in the so-called “Saved Games” folder, which can be found most easily via the following path.

  • Open the run dialog using the CTRL key + R key, following path %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 Type in and confirm with the Enter key.

%userprofile% is an environment variable that automatically opens the user directory of the currently logged in Windows user. In the subfolder you will then find the individual saves, including the auto-saves and quick-saves, as well as the ManuelSaves, i.e. the manually saved saves. In addition to a DAT and JSON file, the subfolders also contain a PNG file with a screenshot.

If you want to use the savegames of other players, you simply have to copy them into the subdirectory and if there are no problems with different game versions, then you can load the savegame from the game as normal.
