The long-suffering role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 has turned 2 years old – the project was released on December 10, 2020. The developers thanked for the support and released a special art in which the main characters of the game and anime (V, Judy, Johnny, David, Lucy and Rebecca) have fun, drink and eat cake.

So much has happened in 2 years! Thank you for the support and passion you have given us!

The release of Cyberpunk 2077 turned out to be problematic. The game set a record for “online” on Steam (1 million people at peak), but received disastrous reviews – it was criticized for its terrible technical condition. As a result, the developers had to forget about the planned multiplayer, postpone the first DLC and cancel the second one altogether. Since release, the authors have released many patches that not only improved optimization and fixed a lot of bugs, but also added new content, including equipment in the spirit of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime.

In 2023, the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will receive a major story expansion, Phantom Liberty. Recently, the developers showed a new trailer in which the famous British actor Idris Elba lit up – he will play Solomon Reed, one of the key characters in the DLC.
