How to mark a target in Cyberpunk 2077? Which button do you have to press on PS4, Xbox One or PC if you want to mark an opponent? This question may be on the minds of some players of the new Cyberpunk 2077 who are currently playing the basic tutorial and familiarizing themselves with the stealth tutorial. In the stealth tutorial you have to mark a total of four guards with the scanner as part of a task. Even later in the game there are always missions where you have to mark targets. The only question is, how does marking targets work in Cyberpunk 2077?
Mark targets in Cyberpunk 2077
If you want to mark an opponent in Cyberpunk, you first have to activate the scanner and then use it to mark the target. The scanner can be activated using the L1 button (PS4), LB button (Xbox One) or the Shift key (PC). You can then focus on the target and mark it by pressing the right analog stick (PS4, Xbox One) or by pressing the mouse wheel (PC).
- PS4: R3 button (press right analog stick)
- Xbox One: RS button (press right analog stick)
- PC: Press mouse wheel
By the way, the whole thing doesn’t just work with one opponent or target, but you can also mark several opponents or targets at the same time. Once marked, you can track and observe the enemies much easier and better, which is very important for stealth gameplay.
Marking opponents doesn’t work?
Some players appear to be having issues with marking targets on PC. If tagging by pressing the mouse wheel doesn’t work in the PC version, you can also assign tagging to another key. To do this, simply open the settings and assign the Mark button differently under the “Key assignment” and the “General” section.
