We’ve known that since June Grand Theft Auto V will be released for the PC. Now it’s time to devote more words to this version of the game, because Rock star not only has the release date of GTA V PC, but also revealed that there will be some new features and improvements that will ensure PC players can truly feel like the master race.
First the really big news: Grand Theft Auto V will be released for PC on January 27, 2015. This is a few months after the upcoming editions for PS4 and Xbox One, which will hit stores later this year, on November 18th.
Now to the new stuff: As you’d expect, the game will feature visual and technical upgrades – including better draw distances and higher resolutions. Rock star also announced the following new features:
-
New weapons, vehicles and activities
-
Additional wildlife
-
Denser traffic
-
New foliage system
-
Improved damage and weather effects, and more
The radio stations will also play over 100 new songs.
Last but not least receives Grand Theft Auto Online “an increased player count”. Rock star announces that the PS4 and Xbox One versions will support 30 players. Will more players be able to play on the PC? Hopefully we will find out soon.
The PC version will be released later than hoped and it hurts a little that the PC is the last platform on the GTA V Release tour is on, but whatever – it’s a great game and PC will be the platform to play it considering the great GTA IV mod community.
