Paradox Tectonic studio and Paradox Interactive publisher have decided on the release date of Life by You, a life simulator in the spirit of The Sims. The game will appear in Steam Early Access on June 4 and will remain in this state for at least a year.
Rod Humble, who worked on The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and Second Life, is responsible for the creation of Life by You. The developer’s main emphasis was on complete freedom – gamers can build whatever they want, create the characters they want, and even switch between them on the fly.
Modding will play an important role in the simulator. All the necessary tools are already built into the game itself. And, most importantly, enthusiasts can easily monetize their creations:
If you make YouTube videos using Life By You, I want you to know that you can monetize whatever you want. You don’t owe us a cent. Take action!
If you’re making a mod and then you say, “Actually, I’m going to take my mod to my site and start monetizing it,” like on Patreon, like a ton of modders do, I’m here to tell you, go for it. You don’t need our permission.
Life by You will only be available on PC.
