Star Wars Battlefront II will be a completely new experience for players star Wars give experience. And this time it will be really great.
In Battlefront II, which will be released on November 17th, will, as is now common knowledge, feature a single-player campaign. In this you will play over a longer distance as Iden Versio, which is from Janina Gavankar is presented and spoken. This lady is an Imperial soldier who vows revenge on the Rebel Alliance after she watched the second Death Star being blown up from Endor. This new character fully believes in the Empire, which is why this time players have a task that is rare in the games: they must end the rebellion once and for all.
In addition to a vastly expanded multiplayer experience, this brand new canonical story is the highlight of Battlefront II. This time, for a change, you’ll be fighting on the other side of the conflict (even if that’s been possible before). As the leader of the also brand new elite unit Inferno Squad (she will her own book (which will be released on July 25th), Iden will scare the rebels. This loyal servant of the Empire grew up on Vardos, a brand new planet created for the game that is something of an Imperial Utopia. There she was raised to fully understand and accept imperial ideas. Their team is the best the Empire has to offer and is perfectly trained in everything: ground combat, flying, sabotage, espionage – these people can do it all. When the second Death Star is destroyed, Iden sets off with her droid sidekick on a journey that tells a story of revenge that takes place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens is located. (It also has to do with Operation Cinder, which will be familiar to fans of new canonical content.) But you won’t just play as Iden in the game. She is the primary “heroine,” but the campaign will also allow you to play as Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, and other stars of the series.
The multi-layered, canonical single-player campaign is certainly the crown jewel of Battlefront II. But the multiplayer content has also been expanded and now covers all eras: Prequels, Clone Wars, Original Trilogy and Sequel Trilogy. (Whether or not Rebels Characters will be there is unknown. Fingers crossed for a playable Thrawn.) Confirmed heroes include: Darth Maul, Yoda, Kylo Ren, Rey, Luke Skywalker. Many more are sure to follow and will be announced in the coming months. Players will be able to upgrade these heroes just like traditional troopers, giving them new abilities. The same goes for vehicles, which will be more numerous, more diverse (you can now ride a damn Tauntaun!) and easier to control. The latter applies especially to aircraft. People from Criterion were brought in to help resolve this criticism of the first game. And yes, there will be space battles too.
Players will begin most multiplayer rounds as a traditional trooper (more on those in a moment), but this time vehicles and heroes will be unlocked differently than in the first game. Instead of grabbing some kind of power-up, players must complete certain gameplay objectives to earn them. Additionally, even the traditional Troopers will be able to gain hero abilities that will allow them to stand up to the heroes. And there will be classes.
When it comes to these traditional troopers, there will be a lot more variety than in the first game. There will be Resistance fighters, Imperial officers, First Order Stormtroopers and even battle droids. They will all be playable and there will be more to come.
But in reality it turns around Battlefront II everything revolves around Iden, a new and completely different character who the team hopes to make so believable and interesting that he will ultimately be on a par with Leia, Rey, Ahsoka and the other powerful women of star Wars will stand.
