Warlods of Draenor added garrisons World of Warcraft plus followers who can be sent out on special missions to get additional loot. Not everyone is difficult to find and recruit. Some really great ones are just hidden on the map, you just need to know where to go.
Two videos from YouTuber Opt can help you with your search by showing the locations of six great followers. You can easily get them to join your garrison without having to complete long quests or fight through heroic dungeons. Followers are probably the most important aspect of your garrison, so finding these characters really pays off.
