The world of the Walking Dead is dark and brutal – it ends up being populated by flesh-eating hordes of the undead and madmen running around with baseball bats wrapped in barbed wire. But before you return to this darkness with season seven, fill your world with a bit of humor and joy by John Cleese listen, one of the icons of British comedy.

In the video, released in collaboration with UK-based streaming service Now TV, summarizes Cleese run together in his own inimitable style what has been done so far the Walking Dead happened. There are some good gags (some you’ll only fully appreciate if you’re familiar with British pop culture) and it’s delicious to hear how Cleese tries to screw up the name “Carl” almost as badly as it does Andrew Lincoln does.
