This cop’s nervous breakdown Grand Theft Auto V reminds me a little Michael Douglas in Falling down. He almost manages to maneuver his squad car out of the driveway, but then… he just freaks out.
This wonderful scene took place in the open world after the player completed the heist mission Flash Play had completed. He went to Devin Westons mansion, got an assignment from Solomon Richards, went out and found this Los Santos County deputy trying to get out of the driveway in his car (apparently he was chasing Michael when the previous mission ended).
You can see the drivers slowing their cars and shaking their heads as the deputy wrecks his vehicle and ultimately gives up in frustration. The player then decided to follow him – out hill, down hill, through a ravine and on to the beach, where the cop starts swimming in circles, draws his pistol and eventually disappears.
Who knows why it happened like that. Maybe there Rockstar Games Players have 10 minutes to kill or ignore a police officer before he draws his handgun and teleports to another location. Nervous breakdown policeman, where did you disappear to? Maybe a visit to the psychiatrist could help…
