Enthusiast has doubled the frame rate in the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor with a mod

As you probably know, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor came out in not the best technical condition. The game slows down on all systems, which is why it received negative reviews on Steam.

One of the modders, a Chinese enthusiast named PureDark, was able to partially solve the low frame rate problem. To do this, he brought an “intelligent” DLSS 3 upscale into play, judging by the video, the frame rate doubled to 90 PFS. In addition, the technology improved the image by removing some graphic artifacts.

According to PureDark, the mod doesn’t work perfectly. Most of the problems are related to the lightsaber’s markings, the movement of which is difficult to predict. The enthusiast will not complete the modification, but may release it into the public domain soon.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on April 28th for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
