Hoth, the DICE Planet: Star Wars – Battlefront

Very little is currently known about Star Wars: Battlefront, but at least we know it is in development. That in itself might be worth reporting? When EA took exclusive control of the well-ordered license, some observers feared/expected a series of games in which Jar-Jar Binks must match three identical-looking Ewok faces to unlock more “cool” spells. No fear. With the help of the Frostbite Engine, DICE brings its usual Battlefield explosions to the ice planet Hoth and other hotly contested locations in the Star Wars universe. EA Games label boss Patrick Söderlund told SamaGame: “There are absolutely things in the previous Battlefront games that you’ll recognize and remember, but DICE wants to put its own flavor on it…but again, it’s going to be very Star Wars and very cool.” Here’s a thirty second trailer, but is it cool? Is that Star Wars?
