Play Star Wars Battlefront in split screen on PS4, Xbox One and PC
Unlike on the PS4 or Xbox One, you cannot start a local split-screen game on the PC, which is often not desired because one person would theoretically have to play with a gamepad while the other player uses the mouse. As usual, there is online co-op mode so you can play with a friend. On the PS4 or Xbox One you can play Battlefront together on one console with a friend.
Different game modes are available to you in split-screen mode, including training as well as battle and survival. You can find the game modes in the main menu under Missions.
training
During training, as the game mode suggests, you can familiarize yourself with the functions and improve your skills as a shooter or as a hero. If you still want to learn to fly with the X-Wing or Tiefighter, the game mode is also recommended. The Training game mode is played exclusively with a friend in co-op.
Survive
You can play the Survival game mode in Battlefront in split screen and many people will probably already know this from the trailers before the release. It’s about surviving together with a friend for as long as possible and eliminating waves of enemies.
battle
In battle, you can compete with your friend in 1v1 mode. You can also bring computer-controlled opponents or friends with you to fill up the map a little more.
What is unfortunately not possible in Star Wars Battlefront on the PS4, Xbox One and the PC is the split-screen mode in multiplayer mode, but only locally.
