One or two players who have bought the popular Star Wars game from Electronic Arts might ask something similar. In Star Wars Battlefront 2 you can recreate many of the battles and fights from the Star Wars films and even take on the role of Jedis and other well-known characters. In addition to a single-player campaign and a co-op mode, there is of course also an extensive multiplayer mode. When it comes to multiplayer, the question of crossplay support often arises. But what is the current status?
Play Star Wars Battlefront 2 PC, PS4 and Xbox One together
Even though there are now some PC and console games with crossplay support, the best-known examples being Fortnite or Call of Duty Modern Warfare, you cannot yet play Battlefront 2 in crossplay in the current version. If you want to play one of the multiplayer modes or the co-op mode with friends, this is only possible if they play on the same platform. Or to put it another way, as a PS4 player you can only play with friends on the PlayStation 4. Of course, the same applies to the PC and Xbox One version of Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Crossplay support planned?
Similar to other EA titles such as Battlefield 5 or FIFA 20, there does not seem to be any crossplay support planned for Star Wars Battlefront 2 at the moment. According to reports, EA is probably working on crossplay for their games, but apart from Apex Legends, there is currently no title that you can play with friends across platforms.
