Background: NVIDIA has announced DLSS 3.5 with improved ray tracing – the technology will appear in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and Alan Wake 2
Along with the announcement of the Half-Life 2 remaster, NVIDIA has released a new video for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. It showed the work of the improved ray tracing that is responsible for DLSS 3.5.
DLSS 3.5 is equipped with beam reconstruction technology, which increases the detail and clarity of reflections and improves performance. A new video shows what the game looks like with the new ray tracing.
We would like to point out once again that DLSS 3.5 works on all graphics cards in the RTX series. The previous version, DLSS 3, was only supported by the latest 40-series models.
Improved upscaling will also appear in Alan Wake 2 and Portal with RTX.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released on September 26th for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
