NVIDIA has released a new video showing off Cyberpunk 2077’s Overdrive mode, which uses more advanced ray tracing. In the video, the game ran at maximum 4K graphics on a PC with an RTX 4090, an Intel Core i9-12900K and 32 GB of RAM.
Overdrive mode will be added to the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 as a free update on April 11th. It improves the quality of reflections, lighting and shadows – in Overdrive mode, all light sources, including signs on buildings, street lamps and car headlights, work with ray tracing. NVIDIA recommends running this mode only on high-performance 40-series RTX graphics cards.
We remember that CD Projekt RED previously announced when it would show the big plot addition “Phantom Freedom” for Cyberpunk 2077. And the modder also released his own RPG remaster.
