Now that the inevitable has happened and versions of Grand Theft Auto V have been announced for PS4, PC and Xbox One, it’s time to discuss what everyone is interested in: what will the 2014 version look like? Pretty good if the trailers are anything to go by.
Digital Foundry cut moving images from the commercials for GTA V from the previous year and compared them with the same images from the latest trailers, which are intended to increase interest in the upcoming versions. The improvements are obvious: in the trailers for the PS4 and Xbox One versions you can see not only much more detail, but also more vehicles and people. GTA V was already visually impressive on the last generation consoles, but these comparison clips almost make the new-gen versions look like completely different games.
